The Musicians

Bronson Hoover is a multi-instrumentalist who has shared the stage with the likes of George Clinton, G Love & Special Sauce, The Almighty Senators, Jah Works and Charlie Hunter. He has performed with Loa, Orange Whip, Jay Jay, Too Many Daves and the Brass Soulution, Jazzmatazz , drummer Nasar Abaday, and saxophone legend Ron Holloway. Bronson is currently working as a graphic designer. See www.dnbstudios.com For this event he will perform originals on both guitar and piano, with a few jazz and blues standards thrown in.

 

Perry King and Wendy Bond are both well known in the DC activist community for their folk/rock music and ballads for justice. The ballad of Rachel Cory's life will have its public debut.

The Cause

Just Peace Circles is sending an Eco Peace Delegation to Israel/Palestine in Spring 09. Funds collected go towards green building supplies for a permaculture project on which the delegation will be working, travel assistance and support of BUSTAN's on-going work in building sustainable Bedouin and Jewish communities in the Negev of Israel.
