Maryland's 2nd Restorative Justice Conference

Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 6 - 8 p.m. Reception and Circle Discussion with Kay Pranis and Lauren Abramson.  Sponsored by the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services.

Friday, November 21, 2008, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Keynote presentation by Anne Seymour from 9 - 10:15 a.m.  followed by numerous workshops.  David Weaver-Zercher will lead a plenary session over lunch entitled "Amish Grace, Amish Hope".

The goals of the conference include: 1.) Increase the understanding and awareness of the benefits of using restorative justice principles and practices 2.) Promote the increased use of existing restorative justice principles, practices and programs in Maryland 3.) Encourage the establishment of new restorative efforts throughout Maryland. 

  • Early-bird registration before 10/25 is $75.00 ($50 for ACR Chapter members) and includes both Thursday and Friday sessions.
  • Regular Registration after 10/25 is $100.  A Saturday learning Institute is offered separately for $45.00.
