The Art of Deep Listening & Nonviolent Communication - a workshop

"Listening to others as they desire to be listened to" sounds simple - yet it's not easy. Deep listening is an art that requires us to tap into our inner wisdom and pay close attention to where words come from. It is a process that requires us to suspend judgment and criticism and build bridges. These skills are useful in resolving disputes peacefully at home, work or school, in the political arena or in restorative dialogue circles.

This day long retreat offers each participant the opportunity to become a more skillful listener, learn and practice restorative dialogue techniques, and meet others interested in honing their peacemaking skills.
