Turtle Dreamers Circle meets twice a month to discern our dreams and offer prayers for peace - for ourselves, our families and communities and Earth Mother. Dreamers participate in ceremony, and the care and support of the Prayer Lodge where sacred ceremonies are offered in the tradition of the indigenous sweat lodge.
Through our dream work and the prayer lodge, we desire to empower the Feminine to return to balance so that we all - women and men and all our relations - might live. We believe there is: One race - humanity One language - love On way - truth, integrity & honor The turtle symbolizes the power of the feminine and, for many indigenous peoples, is associated with women's wisdom and strength. The 13 markings on the turtle's back connect us to the natural cycles of the moon and the womb of all, Earth Mother. Turtle Dreamers Circles are inspired and taught by Rev LaKotaHasie Frazier, Buffalo Woman comes Running, who is of Abanaki, Mic-Mac, Lakota, and French descent. The "medicine" or teachings come from her mother's Wampanog people and other tribes of the northeast woodlands and have grown, as well, from her own life experiences, visions, and the guidance of the Grandmothers (her guides).
